Honoured to Be Featured in AEC Magazine & Why the Industry Needs Change Now

It’s a genuine honour to see KREODx featured in the latest AEC Magazine , highlighting our work in bringing aerospace-grade precision into the built environment. We’re grateful for the attention, not because it celebrates us, but because it draws focus to a bigger conversation the industry urgently needs.

For too long, the AEC sector has lived with fragmented workflows, duplicated effort, slow decisions and unnecessary risk. Everyone feels the pain: clients, contractors, designers, manufacturers and lenders. We all know the system can be better. We just rarely stop to ask how.

What KREODx Is Trying to Prove

KREODx wasn’t created to impress with technology. It was created to prove that buildings can be designed, engineered, costed and delivered with the same discipline found in industries like aerospace or automotive.

Not perfection, just precision. Not magic, just clarity. Not disruption for the sake of it, but change that solves real, painful problems.

Some of our team came from aerospace and automotive industries and they brought with them a mindset the built environment has rarely benefited from: if something can be modelled once, it should only be modelled once; if something can be calculated, it shouldn’t be guessed; and if something can be transparent, there’s no reason for it to stay opaque.

This isn’t a radical idea. It’s simply overdue.

A Conversation That Will Continue

In the coming weeks, we’ll be hosting a deeper session with Martyn Day. Not to promote ourselves, but to open up the thinking, the lessons and the practical realities behind KREODx.

We’ll share the work that has already been tested in real projects:

  • designing and engineering without re-drawing the same building multiple times,

  • generating live BoQ/BoM and evidence-based cost plans,

  • connecting design, manufacturing and assembly in a single digital thread,

  • and applying circular-economy thinking across the entire DEMACOMB lifecycle.

None of this is theoretical. It’s already happening and the session will openly show the process, the challenges and the outcomes.

Why the Timing Matters

The built environment is going through one of the most demanding periods in decades. Costs, risk, quality, sustainability, labour, skills. Every pressure is increasing.

The industry cannot afford drift. It needs clarity, efficiency, accountability and smarter ways of working now, not five years from now.

The momentum behind KREODx isn’t about us. It’s about a wider shift that the industry has been quietly calling for and why AEC Magazine’s feature is a timely reminder that change is not only possible, but necessary.
